Our Committees
As a CAC member, you will be invited to join our general gatherings and meetings. You can be apart of our volunteer team as we take part in our different Charity activities. You can also join various committees to make a difference and be a part of the Caribbean community. Feel free to contact committee chairs for any questions or suggestions.
Hospitality Committee
Responsible for acting as a bridge between China and Caribbean nationals staying or planning on visiting China; our objectives are as follows:-
· Welcoming you to China
· Promoting cultural awareness
· Enabling smoother transition of cultural and social integration into the Chinese society
· Developing understanding of Chinese culture, traditions, history and lifestyle by making available guidelines, tips and information
· Supporting and improving students’ welfare of Caribbean nationals by providing guidance, psychological support and advice to students living in China or planning to study in China.
· Making available information relating to business, educational or general affairs in China.
· Promoting the Caribbean region and Caribbean talents and skills in China

Charity Committee
Responsible for doing background research and submitting proposals which will help the CAC choose suitable charities. CAC regularly organizes charity events with the aim of contributing to its host country.
Events Committee
Responsible for planning and general oversight of all CAC events; CAC holds various professional and social events during the year. Members who have experience in event planning are encouraged to participate in this committee.
Media/Public Relations Committee
Responsible for writing articles about CAC events, taking photographs at events and keeping the media informed of CAC activities.
Webpage Content Committee
Responsible for maintaining and updating information on the CAC website.
