About us

The Caribbean Association in China officially started on April 1, 2007  with 11 members and now has  a steadily growing membership  from a wide range of countries that are almost as diverse as the Caribbean itself,  representing countries such as Antigua, The Bahamas, Guyana, Jamaica, Suriname, Grenada and Panama and even non Caribbean countries including the United States, Congo.
Membership Benefits. CAC members, some having been living in China for over 12 years, holding backgrounds in finance, journalism, education, engineering, marketing, trade, etc., bring with them a wealth of professional knowledge and expertise.   Together, the CAC membership continue to grow in strength and diversity.

The primary purpose and objective of the Caribbean Association in China (CAC) is to support and connect members working and studying in China.  Members will have access to the membership directory to network for both personal and professional opportunities. Members will also have the chance to receive discounts to various social and professional events sponsored by CAC. CAC provides resources and welcome information to assist members as they are adjusting to their new lives in China. The welcome information includes Chinese culture, what one needs to know about living in various Chinese cities, social life in China, maps, and much more.
